I am not receiving any emails, what should I do?

If you have your child connected you will receive an email from us every 7 days from the day your child has been connected to SocialShield. Critical alert emails are sent to you as soon as we detect them. You will also receive one Welcome email at the time of your account creation and 3 days after if you have not connected any children to your account. You will also receive an email if we lose connection to your child.

If you are not receiving emails from us it could be due to one of the following reasons:

  • You have unsubscribed from receiving emails from SocialShield at some point. Please contact us and we can reset your preferences.
  • The email address for your account (username) is not the same email address you are expecting to receive email. For instructions on how to change your username please visit this page.
  • In some cases you may find our emails in your spam folder. In order to make sure this does not happen please add support@socialshield.com to your address book.
